# Set up messaging with XMTP

You can easily set up XMTP. Here steps:

* Go to main feed
* Click message icon on top right
* Click "Connect a wallet" text and choose your wallet

* Wait a little bit to see 1st wallet message to sign, it might take time according to  density
* Go Phaver app screen
* Click "Create your XMTP idendity"&#x20;
* Go your wallet again and sign last message
* Go Phaver app screen, wait a little bit and it's done
* When you opened DM box first time, you will not see any message, all messages come Request tab first until you answer them
* Please be careful about scam messages and links
